Background
Simply put, there were factions who wished to be free from the Rangers’ ideals. Some of them openly fought against them. Back in the day, the Badland Originals and the Rangers were involved in countless skirmishes and feuds - the result of which brought about an uneasy truce that lasts to this date.
Amongst countless casualties from both factions, the Rangers and the Badlanders often eliminated major individuals within their conflicts. Dagg was one of them.
The Incident
The attack itself commenced when several of the Rangers following Dagg discovered the group of Badland Originals outside the Ground Zero.
Treis, a Badland Originals member, engaged into combat and was almost immediately targetted by the Rangers. Dagg sought cover while the combat took place, resulting in a massive exchange of bullets, cussing and bloodshed.
Halfway in the middle of the firefight, Volkovski unleashed a RPG-7 that struck home into Armrha’s helicopter’s tail, causing it to spin wildly out of control. At this time, several people sought cover as Armrha, who was piloting the helicopter, attempted vainly to steer it into control. The attempt failed, the helicopter crashed into the ground, exploded and sent Armrha’s giblets land close by to Rynthas (who miraculously managed to survive leaping from the descending helicopter). Dagg, wounded from the initial exchange, was killed instantly by the explosion and crash.
Several Rangers and Badlanders were killed in this incident. It was during this time that Treis and Soleil were reunited. The moment was short lived, Soleil was killed out of mercy by his own father while a grief stricken Treis blew out his own brains with his Desert Eagle.
