Sinetek

Mekanika - At the gates of Sinetek [south, north, east]
The tall cast iron gates of the Sinetek Weapons Factory loom before you now.
The half-open gates seemed to have been elaborate and ornate once, but due to
time, now currently look like a twisted mangle of iron. A small guardhouse
stands to the east of the gates, a concrete affair with little comforts for the
guards that patrol this gate. Beyond the gates is what appears to be a cracked
tarmacked ground, outlined with little white lines on the ground. The factory
is all up in your face now, a fortified building with its wear and tear
evidenced on it. The air is heavy, the smoke stifling, and you feel a burning
sensation in your eyes. To the south of here is Sindikat Square.

The Sinetek Arms Corporation, formerly known as the Kinetek Corporation, was one of the leading weapons manufacturer before and during the war. It gained quite a lot of wealth from producing wartime heavy weaponry. Its original owner, a man simply known as Larz, continued to run a few of his remaining factories out of his own pocket. However, as time passed by, the factories continued to deteriorate until there was only one left in New Nevada.

However, this is not the end of the story. The factory in New Nevada is one of the major suppliers of ammunition and rebranded small arms in the region. Due to that fact it has been attacked many times before by raiders and other factions alike seeking for the armories, ammunition, and technology within. Time and time again the Kinetek Corporation repelled this invaders. Eventually, due to internal strife, politics, and other factors, the corporation, including the factory, passed hands to the Gorchev Syndicate. Relabelled as the Sinetek Arms Corporation, the Sindikat intended to use them as their major arms supplier and to gain additional profit from their surplus.

The Sinetek Weapons Factory is the central building of the walled forge-town known as Mekanika. It is because of the Sinetek Weapons Factory that the town continues to flourish even in these horrible conditions past the war. Sinetek also works closely with the Mekanika Polynomic University , which is funded and established by Sinetek. Most technicians and researchers recruited into Sinetek have to go through Mekanika University before they are hired. The Gorchev Syndicate also keeps a detachment of the Private Army, the 23nd Mechanised Unit, on site to repel invaders.

The current CEO of the Sinetek is a man named Kay McKenzie. On joining Sinetek, a person has the choice of several career avenues:

Sinetek Security Department :
Main duties - Light Recon and Patrols of the area around the factory, as well as providing bodyguard services to Salesmen. The office of the Sinetek Security is separate from the Sindikat Private Army and is a smaller, lighter, and more casual regiment that is based from the factory itself. Any problems encountered by the Sinetek Security Department that cannot be handled by themselves alone will be referred to the Sindikat Private Army. Think of them as Corporate Security.
Management:
Main duties - Employment and management of the Sinetek Arms Corporation. Will possibly handle accounting as well. Responsible for training and motivational speeches.
Shipping and Sales:
Main duties - Transport of goods for either large-scale trading with factions or guilds in the wastes, or for general distribution in one of the many friendly Sinetek Arms Stores in the wastes. Salesmen will be assigned one or more Sinetek Rangers for safety purposes. Some Salesmen will free-roam to visit isolated villages or discover townships and establish a line of trade with them.
Sinetek Board of Directors:
Consists of a CEO, CFO, and 2 Sindikat-appointed directors.

Elite: Ruins Division
The Exploration of Ancient Ruins to Retrieve and Study Artifice Division (commonly shortened to Ruins Division) is a group of researchers who have military training. Their primary function is to search and scour ancient ruins for technology that they can bring back. As of such they require both brains and brawn in order to fulfill their objectives. They have a long-standing feud with the Sindikat’s RepoMen, however, they acknowledge that they cannot accomplish certain objectives which require advanced military training.
