Description
A young woman standing over a meter and a half tall (approximately 5'10") Nathalie is rather slim and almost devoid of the stereotypical female figure. She is something of a “beanpole” with slim hips and small breasts. Her arms and legs are smoothly molded in the toneless musculature of a person who gets all their exercise on the job, only showing their true bulk and strength when in use. Her auburn hair is cut short, and maintained in a no-nonsense “pixie” cut. Her expression is usually tight-lipped, and her strong, angular, jawline accentuates this. Her sharp gray eyes glint attentively over heavily freckled cheeks.
She wears a black kevlar vest over a khaki field shirt with the markings of the OSI stencilled on the shoulders of her rolled up sleeves, and a Warrant Officer’s bars on her collar. A pair of heavy cowhide gloves protect her hands, in high-stress weapon manipulations and whenever she lends a hand with her old unit in the Engineers. Her pants are Ranger issue charcoal gray with green stripes, tucked into nearly knee-high stovepipe boots which appear thoroughly broken in. She is armed with an AC556F either slung or casually cradled in addition to a trustworthy 1911 worn on her left hip in “condition one”, and a knife canted for crossdraw on her right. The gun and knife are worn in a WWII style canvas belt and holster combo.
On the whole she appears no more threatening than many of the wastes citizens, tall and thin and angular, almost “sharp” on the eyes. Dressed head-to-toe in Ranger issue gear, clean-cut and professional in bearing she looks an awful lot like a pre-war county Sheriff, or a Mountie.

History
Born North of the 49, Nathalie traveled to New Nevada with her family as a child. Coming from a clan of craftsmen her family gravitated towards the Desert Rangers, bringing their experience as welders into the Ranger fold. Nathalie grew up welding and fabricating, but felt called to service of a different sort after being rescued from an unbalanced ex by one of the Enforcers. The incident left her with the tip of a KABAR embedded in her ribs, and a strong respect for the Enforcers.
Originally specialized as an Engineer due to her background as a welder, she began training for a more ‘active’ role. After months of training under Dale (of the Enforcers) Nathalie has recently been promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer, 1(WO1) and transferred to the NNDR Office of Special Investigation(OSI).
In her off-duty time she either hits the range, or works on welding up a chassis for a Fast Attack Vehicle/Sandrail.(Lots of RP before THAT bears fruit.)
