Located along the middle of Base Rd. in Darwin, the Darwin Genetic Research was a laboratory formally specializing in genetic engineering and biotechnology. The laboratory was sealed off for many years, until a salvager named Science Earl uncovered it. Earl discovered that Darwin Genetic Research was chiefly interested in developing super-soldiers for the United States Army to use against the Soviet Union. It is believed that many of the mutated creatures found throughout Darwin may have been a result of this research. The lower sections of the laboratory are now overrun with strange and powerful creatures.
