Assault rifles are rifles or carbines with selective fire, capable of firing either semi-automatically or fully automatically. They fire intermediate-power cartridges (between those of a pistol and those of a rifle) and possess a buttstock and box magazine. This excludes belt-fed weapons (machine guns) and rifles that based on the design of an assault rifle, but without the provision for fully automatic fire (i.e. civilian variants of assault rifles). Common examples are the AK-47, M16 and Steyr AUG.
This skill covers combat with assault rifles in either single-shot, burst or full auto modes. Increasing the skill of assault rile allows for a higher chance to hit enemies when you are wielding assault rifle-type weapon. At a moderate skill level, the special move aimshot becomes available. At higher levels, burst and fullauto can be used. __NOTOC__
Special Moves
- At 80% skill allows for the use of the special move aimshot.
- At 100% skill allows for the use of the special move burst.
- At 200% skill allows for the use of the special move fullauto.

- Soldier: 10% per rank
- Thief: 3% per rank
